FOR AUTHORS:
Would you like your story to be read as a podcast? This is the place to ask! What you need to do:
1. Create a thread in this subforum titled with your story's title. Do not post in this thread to request someone to post your story, create a new thread.
2. Copy this form into your post and fill it out
(For information on single and multiple person podfics, please go here and here)
You don't need to put in an [open] tag on your topic title, a staffer will do that for you once it has been checked, and will change it to [being filled] and [completed] when appropriate.
3. When someone posts saying they'd like to record your story, please post after them letting them know that you approve and to give them the go ahead.
4. If someone posts to claim your story, and you have not replied in three days, the podcaster will PM you. If you do not reply, and you do not post in your story's topic, for two weeks after it is claimed, you will be PMed again, and if there is no reply after a month, it will be marked abandoned.
FOR PODCASTERS:
1. Please post in the thread for the story you would like to record. Please do not accept the request unless it is marked as open.
2. If the author does not post after you within three days saying that you have the go ahead, please PM them.
3. Once you have recorded the story and submitted it (see the guide if you are having trouble) please tell the author that it is done and post in the story's request thread, and it will be closed by a staff member. It's also polite to let them hear the finished podcast before you submit, just in case.
4. You have a month to record the stories. If we don't hear from you, we'll assume you've decided to not record it, and someone else is free to take over the story.
